A Little Update...

Hi everyone!  It's Kassidy from Bow Peep Creations.  I have kind of neglected this blog for a while.  I will be getting back into the swing of things very soon.

I just wanted to update you on a few things that have been going on.  My husband and I went on vacation in March to Hawaii.  It was fantastic except for all the rain...  Here is a pic of our favorite part of our trip.

We also really enjoyed the Dole Plantation.  The pineapple ice cream they have there is to die for!

There will be some changes coming to our studio soon!  We will be moving and having a HUGE sale.  We want to make more room for new inventory that will be coming.  Watch for a special sale in the near future.

What's Cookin' Wednesday

 Sorry we are a little late getting this up.  It has been super crazy around here.  Can't wait to share some new products with you soon.

Seven Layer Taco Dip

 Ingredients

• 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
• 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
• 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
• 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
• 1 (16 ounce) jar salsa
• 1 large tomato, chopped
• 1 green bell pepper, chopped
• 1 bunch chopped green onions
• 1 small head iceberg lettuce, shredded
• 1 (6 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained
• 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

1. In a medium bowl, blend the taco seasoning mix and refried beans. Spread the mixture onto a large serving platter.
2. Mix the sour cream and cream cheese in a medium bowl. Spread over the refried beans.
3. Top the layers with salsa. Place a layer of tomato, green bell pepper, green onions and lettuce over the salsa, and top with Cheddar cheese. Garnish with black olives.
